Planned paid entertainment
Keep gambling within the evening you planned
The onboard casino is one optional part of the voyage. A clear limit, regular pauses and an honest view of spending help keep it in that place.
Decide before play
Set both a time limit and a spending limit before entering the casino. Use money already allocated to entertainment, never funds needed for travel, bills or other commitments. Chips and casino balances can make spending feel less immediate, so check the value of each wager and your remaining balance.
Pause and reassess
Take breaks away from the tables or machines. Stop when your planned time or spending limit is reached, whether you are ahead or behind. Losses should never be chased. Increasing a wager to recover previous losses changes entertainment into an escalating financial decision.
Age and identification
Casino access and gambling activities are available only to guests aged 18 or over. Valid identification may be required at casino reception or during account settlement. Staff can explain rules, table limits, cashier procedures and available assistance.
Separate from the fare
Gambling transactions are separate from the cruise fare. Chips, wagers and casino balances are not included in the ticket. Casino hours depend on the ship’s position and applicable maritime regulations, and game availability may vary by vessel and voyage.
When play no longer feels recreational
Step away if gambling feels urgent, secretive or difficult to stop, or if it affects sleep, relationships or planned spending. Speak with casino reception to ask about available onboard limits or exclusion support. Do not borrow to continue and do not treat gambling as a way to produce income.
